Hello and welcome to our April update on all things movefit pilates.
Spring is here!! Lighter and longer days are upon us. The daffodils have made an appearance and, my personal favourite, little buds on trees and shrubs are starting to form and grow. A metaphor for new beginnings and fresh starts. And there is a bit of that going on with movefit pilates and the studio.
Re-Opening the Studio Doors from 12 April!
The biggest news is that as of 12 April the studio can open its doors again for private sessions. These are 1-1 appointments or duets with a family member from the same household. We are also now able to hold outdoor classes in the coming ‘warmer hopefully’ months. Keep an eye on our timetable for updates.
From 17 May, all being well Covid-wise, we will be once again be allowed to hold socially distanced classes. That means 5 people per class in the studio. Zoom sessions will continue as well throughout this period.
The Chill Out Hour! Pilates and Mindful Movement – a new class!
This will run fortnightly on alternate Tuesdays from 8.15pm – 9.15pm. It will be unlike other classes as it will be focused on gentle and flowing movements and breathing. A chance for you to calm your nervous system and connect to your body. A truly relaxing experience.
These kick off on Tuesday 20 April – click here to join.
Other new classes too!
You will also see some updates and improvements to the timetable this April.
- Mixed Ability on Tuesdays will become Improvers 1 and Mixed Ability on Wednesday evening Improvers 2 (slightly more advances that Improvers 1).
- A new Wednesday midday class will launch on 14 April at 12.45pm – Midday HIPP Fix! (Still 45 minutes but fast-paced and very dynamic).
- The Friday Dynamic Lunch class will now be Friday Feel Good Stretch – 45 minutes of lengthening those muscles and joints aching from the work week.
- Gentle, Beginners and Runners classes stay as they are as do the two current HIPP classes and the Intermediate class.
More news to follow in the next few weeks but for now Happy Easter! Stay safe and hope to see you all face-to-face or online very soon!
