For children of all ages Pilates assists with their physical and emotional development. On the physical side, Pilates is an excellent tool for children to become more aware of their bodies, increasing their balance and coordination as their bodies develop. For older children Pilates and regular exercise can also help develop confidence, self-esteem and interpersonal skills through interaction with their classmates during exercise sessions.
Interested in Pilates for teenagers (13-16 years)?
Teenagers are welcome to join our regular classes with their mums and dads! It’s great fun and nice way to spend time together as a family. If there’s a preference for smaller classes catering specifically for teenagers, this can be arranged. Contact Anna movefitpilates@gmail.com to discuss further.
