Is it Spring yet….the daffodils certainly seem to think so! It’s been a busy winter at movefit pilates with new teachers joining, changes to the timetable, new workshops starting. And changes to the packages. Check out our March newsletter for all our updates this Spring.
- The lovely Hayley Deane is now teaching Tuesday and Wednesday evening classes.
- The fabulous Natalie Hickman is now teaching Pilates Reformer as well as her regular Strength and Balance class on a Tuesday.
- Justina Banks joined us on Thursday 17 March! And the glamorous Justina will be teaching a more advanced Reformer class Thursday evening: Reformer Progressions Plus at 6pm and a Progressions class at 7.05pm.
- The ever graceful Marion Colwell continues to teach her Barre class every Sunday at 10am.
And me, little ole’ Anna, continues teaching as well…of course! However, there are some changes in Anna’s household. Dave – Anna’s husband and helper in the studio is returning to the world of commuting and working in London! Huge congratulations to Dave!
For the timetable, this means some chopping and changing but we are still offering Pilates classes 7 days a week.

All classes with the exception of Gentle Pilates, Barre and Reformer classes continue to be hybrid (online and in studio).
We’ve launched a new series of workshops too – Knowledge is Power! Understanding Perimenopause and Menopause. Our first session on 26 February was a hit! And we covered the main symptoms of perimenopuase and menopause and honed in on tiredness and how it can get in the way of enjoying life and fitness.
The next Knowledge is Power
workshop is on 30 April 2-4.30pm and we’ll be covering aching and stiff joints and muscles. Registration is via Team Up
The next Introduction to the Reformer Workshop is 14 May at 3pm.
Your class packages
We are really keen to keep offering flexibility and improving our Core Studio package – be it mat Pilates or Reformer Pilates. But, in order to do so and manage the rising business costs that we are unfortunately all experiencing, we need to make some changes.
These changes will come into effect on Wednesday 6 April – if you fancy grabbing yourself a package at the current price, go for it now!
Introductory Package – Trial 2 Mat classes: £12
Core Package Pilates on the Mat – get 6 classes to use in 8 weeks: £60
Core Package Pilates on the Reformer – get 4 classes to use in 6 weeks: £70
And after requests and feedback from many of you – we are excited to also launch a new combined Mat and Reformer package:
Mat & Reformer Package – 1 mat and 1 Reformer class per week. 8 classes to use in a 6 week period £102
And please remember with all our packages – we have a 24 hour cancellation policy! So if you need to cancel please do so before 24 hours before the class is set to begin. And to continue to keep our Pilates community as safe we can during these COVID times please if you’re ill, do not come to class. We understand these things happen last minute and appreciate losing credit isn’t fun. But please, do not come in to the studio – you can join online for most mat classes and we’re happy to change your booking to online to accommodate.
